Happy New Year and Stuff...

It has been quite a while since I last updated the blog, but somehow time keeps seeming to slip away. I really am not sure what I used to do with my time prior to Wes, but I do know that my free time is far less than it was. We had a wonderful Christmas, spent lots of time with family, and managed to not eat to awful much!


Wes seemed to enjoy his first Christmas, all the relatives cooing about him, and all the pretty bright colors. He really loved the tree, especially all the lights! He even managed to help open his presents, granted it was mostly by drooling on it and getting the paper so wet that the paper disintegrated! It was very fun seeing him crinkle the paper and get excited about helping Grandpa John open his presents.

We are seeing almost daily changes in Wes, new giggles and sounds, remembering faces, and much more interest in sitting and standing. He has started to arch his back and roll over with a little help from Mom and Dad! He loves to smile, and loves when I get back from work. His 4 month check up had him weighing in at 15lbs, 6 oz. He was 25 inches long! He is getting so big!
